About Us
NOVA Therapy Services is a speech and language therapy practice serving children and adolescents ages 5 to 21 across the state of Texas. We specialize in providing high-quality, online therapy services tailored to each child’s unique communication needs. In addition to working directly with families, we are also a trusted special education contracting agency. We partner with public and private school districts nationwide to provide licensed speech therapists, ensuring students receive the support they need to succeed.
Meet the Owner
Teni Bakare M.A., CCC-SLP
Founder & Owner
Teni is the owner of NOVA Therapy Services. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders from Stephen F. Austin State University, and received her Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Hampton University.

Teni holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed in the state of Texas, North Carolina, and Colorado.
With a specialization for both children and adults, Teni has experience in private practices/clinics, home settings, public schools, hospitals, and online via teletherapy platform. She has provided speech/language therapy for various communication disorders in the area of: receptive and expressive language delays, pragmatic language/social communication, speech sound disorders, fluency disorders, AAC, and cognitive-linguistic deficits. In addition, Teni is highly skilled in working with children diagnosed with Autism, Learning Disabilities, Developmental Delays, and Intellectual Disabilities.
Outside of work, Teni enjoys traveling, fitness, and spending time with family and friends.
